Dr. Bowman’s latest publication features a discussion of the evidence-based evolution of molar distalization techniques with specific attention to the Distal Jet appliance. The Distal Jet was introduced in 1996 and has been modified, refined, and researched extensively over the subsequent 20 years. Dr. Bowman has contributed to 15 Masters theses, dozens of articles and book chapters, and the creation of the patented Bowman Modification and Horseshoe Jet devices.
