Dear Colleagues,

Colleagues, Randy Kunik and Jay Bowman, are offering a non-proprietary seminar on Clear Aligners in Las Vegas on October 1^st.  In a bit of an unusual move, we sought no corporate sponsorship for this 1-day course.   As a consequence, we are asking your help in spreading the word about this event to your friends and colleagues.

If you would be willing to assist us by sharing our information by e-mail, Facebook, etc., we have attached images and the link to our course registration.

Since neither of us are speakers for any clear aligner companies, we felt that avoiding overt sponsorship of our seminar would make for a bit more “refreshing alternative.”

Bharatanatyam Arangetram

We are quite proud to announce that Kalamazoo Orthodontics’ braces wearer, Pavitra Attanayake, will be performing the Bharatanatyam Arangetram at the Epic Theatre on Saturday, August 6th at 4PM. After 2000 years, the Bharatanatyam is considered the most ancient and technically purest form of classical dance in India. The Arangetram shows the dancer’s devotion to the art, and is a graduation ceremony that distinguishes the professional performer from the guru’s student. Dr. Bowman attended another advanced Invisalign continuing education seminar (at the historic Tippecanoe Place - Studebaker mansion in South Bend). Dr. Willy Dayan from Toronto discussed Invisalign BioMechanics. Drs. Dayan and Bowman have previously presented lectures on the same programs.

Did you know that Team KO's Sue Thompson has been rocking for years as a fantastic lead singer? Her current band is "Take Two & Call Dave (in the morning)" and they performed last night at The Barn in Lawton. We're quite proud of her vocal talents along with her leadership at Kalamazoo Orthodontics.

Congratulations to new KO braces patient, Kasey Gambee, won 1st place in her age category at the Kalamazoo Women Classic Disc Golf Tournament.

Rebel Arrest

Thank you to Rachel and Dylan Hosteler for remembering who is a big Star Wars fan by sharing this photographic evidence (with Dr. Bowman) that they were visiting Disney Hollywood Studios in Florida. It appears these "Rebels" were arrested by Stormtroopers but enjoyed the experience.

Team KO's thoughts and prayers are with the families and victims in Berrien County. We hope for a quick recovery for Deputy James Atterbery, Jr. who was a previous Kalamazoo Orthodontics patient.
