Bharatanatyam Arangetram

We are quite proud to announce that Kalamazoo Orthodontics’ braces wearer, Pavitra Attanayake, will be performing the Bharatanatyam Arangetram at the Epic Theatre on Saturday, August 6th at 4PM. After 2000 years, the Bharatanatyam is considered the most ancient and technically purest form of classical dance in India. The Arangetram shows the dancer’s devotion to the art, and is a graduation ceremony that distinguishes the professional performer from the guru’s student.
