Orthodontic History

New Addition to the KO Library.  Special thanks to Jean DiPaolo, daughter of a former chairman at Fairleigh Dickinson orthodontic program, who gifted a 2-volume set of books to us by Dr. Bernhard Weinberger entitled, "Orthodontics: An Historical Review of Its Origin and Evolution."  These books were published in 1926 and are in excellent condition.  His history of orthodontics goes back to its ancient origins, up to the time of specialization, and includes all of the appliances, devices, and innovators.  Trivia - Were you aware that Orthodontics was the 1st dental specialty and second in all of medicine (only Ophthalmology beat us but not by much)?
