The second publication on the Butterfly System appeared in the July 2011 issue of Orthodontic Practice US. The Butterfly System was designed and created by Dr. Jay Bowman after the President of American Orthodontics invited his input. The Butterfly System feature a low profile, twin bracket with a prescription intended to enhance orthodontic treatment outcomes, comfort, esthetics, and hygiene.
