Football season is on the horizon . . . Nicholas Margol is
getting ready the right way by asking us for a mouthguard. Braces need to be protected with a mouthguard
(but not a “molded” one!). Can you wear
braces and play sports? Certainly!
Brett Favre and Terrell Davis both won Super Bowl’s with
braces on. David “The Admiral” Robinson
played for NBA basketball and Mike Modano skated in the NHL with braces.
Nicholas is wearing Invisalign TEEN instead of metal braces,
but wearing a mouthguard is still critical for athletes with or without braces!
