Famous Ancestor

How cool is that? Kalamazoo Orthodontics' Kids Club member, Mady Harroun has a famous ancestor. Dr. Bowman was excited to discover that her great uncle was Ray Harroun - the very first winner of the Indianapolis 500 back in 1911! The "Little Professor" drove his iconic yellow Marmon Wasp to victory without the typical ride-along mechanic--because of his innovation of using a "rear-view" mirror. His Wasp is on display at the Indy Speedway museum.
